Specialising in surface pattern design I love colour, pattern, vintage ceramics and I’m passionate about hand crafted illustration.

Originally from England where I designed tableware for Wedgwood, I now work from my country studio in Kyneton, Australia, where my cat Jolly and a cup of tea are always close by.

A versatile designer, Lucy’s pattern driven work reflects a background in textiles and tableware design.  Collaborating with national and international clients Lucy’s illustrations and watercolour designs have been applied across varied creative platforms including fabric, ceramic tableware, book illustration, fine china, stationery, bedding, web graphics and brand identity.

Inspired by vintage kitchenalia Lucy’s own range of products was launched in 2014, with an essential feature being the connection to old-style kitchen paraphernalia and the English love for drinking tea.  An avid fossicker for kitchen curios, Lucy’s assorted collection of vintage ceramics inspires her designs, along with the iconic Willow pattern and bright, cheery florals.
